Privacy Policy

What we collect

Account data: name, email address, date of birth, driver's license number and state.

Identity verification: document and biometric checks are performed by Stripe Identity. We receive the verification result — we do not store images of your documents on our own servers.

Payment data: card details are collected and stored by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

Trip data: vehicle, dates, pickup or delivery address, and location pins you set for delivery.

How we use it

To verify you are 21 or older and licensed to drive, to book and price trips, to bind insurance coverage for your trip, and to process payments, deposits, and refunds.

To contact you about your trip — confirmations, changes, extensions, and incident follow-up.

Who we share it with

Stripe — payments and identity verification.

Insurance providers (American Business Insurance and partner carriers) — to quote and bind trip coverage.

Vehicle data providers (Auto.dev, NHTSA) — to decode VINs. No personal renter data is sent to these services.

We do not sell your personal information.

California residents (CCPA)

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing orders@sketchyrides.com. Identity-verification records may be retained where required by insurance or legal obligations.

Data security & retention

Session data is held in signed cookies; credentials and keys are held in managed secret stores. Trip records are retained for accounting and insurance-claim purposes.
